About
I’m Elizabeth Peitzman, an artist and surface pattern designer based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. My work combines watercolor botanicals with a sense of vintage charm blending my love of plants, history, and design into artwork that brings warmth and character to the home.
What began as a side project has grown into something truly special: a studio practice devoted to transforming nature’s beauty into timeless wallpaper and home décor. Each pattern starts with a painting on paper inspired by the plants I collect, the gardens I wander through, and the small details that spark curiosity and calm.
My studio is my favorite room in my home filled with beautiful books, well-loved art supplies, trailing plants, and usually two cats keeping me company. It’s a space where creativity feels easy and joyfully personal, where I can slow down and connect to what I love most: painting what inspires me and sharing it with others. There’s something meaningful about knowing my artwork might become a small part of someone’s everyday space adding color, comfort, and connection. It’s a privilege to do what I love and to see my designs find their place in homes that tell a story.

Grow Native Mural
I love plants! After visiting, Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve, I was very touched by their mission to educate our community about the importance of using plants native to our region. I hope that my art will get others excited about preserving our local wildflowers and inspire you to get out and experience nature. Some of my favorite native plants that I included in this mural are toadshade, bee balm, iris, field thistle, butterfly weed, ironweed, pitcher plant, ferns, and milkweed. This mural can be found in Souderton, Pennsylvania at the Souderton Community Pool. Check out all the murals in the Souderton Art Walk.
Remember to grow native!
